I worked with the Federation of Small Businesses to create illustrations for their policy report ‘The Future of High Street’. The report sets out a bold new vision for the next generation of the high street, where small businesses are the driving force behind a thriving, dynamic, and inclusive future.

The project included:

Front cover design for the report, featuring an independent shop with window art

An infographic page, featuring 10 key stats from the report, illustrated in the style of an imagined high street map.

Social media assets, again highlighting key stats from the report.

Individual assets which were used throughout the report and across social media.

Personal project – looping animated gif of a scenic train journey. This piece came from an observational sketch while travelling through Switzerland by train. I noticed that the whole carriage (myself included) was scrolling through their phones, rather than out the window at the incredible scenery.

Illustration inspired by Brighton's murmurations. It shows a woman and child watching the starlings swirl over Brighton's palace pier, against a sunset sky.

My book-themed design was selected to be part of Wild in Art's 'Big Hoot' art trail in Chichester. My hand-painted sculpture was sponsored by Lloyds Bank to be placed in front of the library during the 6-week art trail.

Editorial illustration for the Mayfarer magazine article: The Eye of the Beholder. The article by Sophie Hedley explored how the eyes have been deployed across art, music, film, and fashion over the years.

Cover art design for a podcast exploring innovative projects that make the world a better place.

This illustration of a woman sitting on the steps of a shepherds hut at sunrise was a personal project, inspired by the prompt ‘sunrise’ as part of the #Drawtober travel illustration challenge. I love tapping into these drawing prompts to spark ideas around a theme, create imagined scenes and play around with colours.

A speculative project to re-imagine the visitor map for Battersea Park Children’s Zoo, replacing photography with joyful animal illustrations.

Personal project inspired by a brief from the AOI's Inside Illustration series.

The brief was to illustrate a cover for a pocket-sized walking guide to a city of your choice, complete with a hand-lettered title.

My design aims to reflect the colourful character of this seaside city, with a couple of its most iconic landmarks set against the rolling backdrop of the South Downs.

Commission for FOYER - an independent print magazine exploring culture, art and heritage from the point of view of people from mixed, second-generation and third culture backgrounds.

This piece was inspired by childhood summer holidays spent at my grandma’s smallholding in rural southwest France where the days stretched out endlessly ahead of us. To keep entertained, we’d fire up our imaginations by seeking out mini adventures in the surrounding nature.

Personal piece exploring the pressure to keep up with friends’ spending habits.

This collection of illustrations and comic strips about friendship was compiled into a zine as part of my Masters thesis. The zine explores how friendship evolves around us as we grow and change. It’s about the little things that feel like a big deal, the words that are too hard to say, and the shared experiences that bond us together.
